Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Okay, I've honestly had enough. From now on I have a zero tolerance level with people who don't read my rules which are so clearly stated on each of my bases.

If you break any of them, don't be surprised to find me jumping down your throat. I'm sick of people using my bases and placing 'base belongs to base maker' or 'base lost'. I will be extremely harsh with you so don't come whining when I do. Anyone I find who does not show me what they made also, will be dealt with the same way. And do not give me an excuse, as I've heard them all very frequently. 'Oh I was very tired so went to bed and didn't do it.' 'I forgot to do it, sorry...' 'I was doing something else and-' No. You have been warned.

Also, thank you so much to the people who have been following my rules. I'm sorry you had to see this, but I am becoming increasingly frustrated.

Well, thanks to a very dear friend of mine showing me that many, MANY people do not follow my rules, I felt the need to post this. For most of my watchers, you know I'm usually a very nice, friendly person and put up with a lot.

However, enough is enough. My rules are NOT that hard. First of all, credit me with ~InuBases or

DO NOT put "base by inubases". Secondly, in my rules I state that you must link back to the base that you used. It's not that hard to go to my gallery and find the base again.

Thirdly, and this one irks me the most... Show me what you make. Do NOT use my base and then not show me what you made. In fact, I didn't even know I was so highly well known until my friend pointed out all the bases that were used from my account... that I had never seen before. Why have I never seen them? Because people never gave me a link to them.

All in all, start following my rules, which I will simplify for future reference. I am seriously debating though if I should cease making bases, and delete the ones that I already have on here if things don't start improving soon.
